Williams Consulting was established in 1998 to provide consult- ing services to public libraries and other small community organizations. Williams Consulting has provided assistance in the development of Texas Telecommunication Infrastructure Fund Board grants to public libraries, Universal Service Fund education rate (E-rate) applications, technology plans, and general consulting on small LAN and WAN projects.

Robert L. Williams, owner/consultant, has conducted training on various library-related technology topics. Clients include the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, several Texas regional library systems, and introductory technical training and technology planning for public library staff through Amigos Library Services, Inc. Mr. Williams also develops independently various technical documentation and training guides.
